Lach links to MySpace: RATATAT

Holy crap! How did it take me so long to find these guys. Okay, so I get made fun of a bit for the electronic stuff on my iPod (yes, « rinôçérôse » is on my iPod… yes, i bought at least two full albums from them). Hey, this is probably going to get me into even more trouble, as far as i can tell, there might be 2 dozen words on the whole CD, and I’m pretty sure the genre is Raptronica. [rant]You know people, the human voice is not a prerequisite to something being “music,” they’ve been doing music like this for 100’s of years.[/rant]

RATATAT was described to me by Geoff as “the white stripes of electronica.” They have easy-to-listen-to electronic music. They have a song you’ve heard (seen?), maybe. It’s got a beat that sounds VERY familiar, although I can’t put my finger on it.
