Hi everybody! My name is Lach Mullen, and I’m the sheriff of this here blog.

I was born and raised in Bellingham, WA, a sleepy little sub-urban (sic) town 87 miles north of Seattle, WA and 27 miles from the Canadian border. We apparently pride ourselves on being boring, calling Belingham in “The City of Subdued Excitement.” We’re also known for WWU, tons of cops everwhere, a severe liberal bias (longest running peace vigil in the USA), and overly expensive houses.

I now live in Houston, Texas. Houston is the 4th largest city in the USA (Behind NY, LA, & Chicago) and has the second largest port in the US. 2% of America lives here. In Houston, if you’re “one in a million,” there’s 6 of you here. It has more golf courses and restaurants per capita than any other city in the world, and consequently it is the fattet city in America. If Houston and Dallas were their own country, they would be the most polluted country in the world as well. Houston is the North American home of many of the Big Oil giants and situated on the USA’s “South Coast.” Roughly 4 hours to Dallas, and 3 hours to both Austin and San Antonio, I live in what is essentially the opposite of Bellingham, WA. Coincidently, Bellingham is the farthest away real city from Houston, within the continental united states.

I’m known for being a weird quirky guy who gets it wrong a lot, but laughs at almost everything eventually. I love satire, my wife, my extended family and Jesus, not in that order.

In this blog I write about whatever I feel like. Sometimes it’s a funny video from the web, sometimes some political or social commentary, sometimes it’s business ideas and solutions (did you know I helped to invent the “Buy it now” feature on the iPhone when you’re in Starbucks? Yep, that was me and Otis (uncredited, of course).
