Kill Christian, Hate!

This is insane. Rick Warren’s posse is on the loose with a new video game where Christians run around killing non-Christians who they can’t convert.

It’s themes around the Left Behind series which is kooky enough on it’s own.

I can’t really do this story justice, you’ll have to read it yourself here (part 1) and here (part 2).

I grew up playing “Spiritual Warfare” (link 1) (link 2) by WisdomTree (crappiest website ever), where we ran around shooting “fruit of the spirit” at people and demons to “convert” them to believers. The big bosses were killed however and the game was a lot of fun for a Christian kid on an NES. This new game, however, crosses all sorts of lines, including promoting an obscure violent Christian subculture that many would be surprised exists, let alone has such a broad reach.

Read on to get the bejeezes scared out of you.

Layman,
Unfortunately, the report is accurate.
I read your post, and can’t encourage others to do the same, as you tend to run in logical circles with your commenters, in addition to calling them names.
For a Attorney, you sure throw the word “slander” like it aint no thang. Ironically, you call people bigots with little restraint.
The fact is it’s a FPS game with a gimmick tossed in that says you have to convert people to get points. The FPS origins are evidenced by the ability to be an antichrist warrior.
The real issue at hand is the dominist overtones in the game that merge with R.W.’s theology. The real scary thing here should be that Purpose people are participating in the creation of this shameful game.
The thing is, Layman, with people like Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwal running around spouting insane dominist theocratic doctrine all over the world, something like this is TOTALLY believable, not to mention inevitable.
